VIP Glamping at Chilham Castle
A limited number of fully-furnished bell tents are available in the VIP glamping area, alongside the lake with the castle looming above.
You can wander up to the castle to enjoy up to three outdoor performances from the Globe (bookable separately), gain unlimited access to the exclusive tipi bar and relax around the fire. All this with a backdrop of this beautiful castle whose grounds have not been opened previously for this purpose.
This exclusive package includes:
- Five metre bell tent which sleeps up to six people in one main space, with lantern, fairy lights, power socket, mattress (double or single as required) with full bedding, towel, table, chairs, rugs, cushions, welcome basket and heater
- Glamping toilets and showers (not ensuite)
- Access to the exclusive tipi bar for glamping guests and VIPs
- Food stalls for breakfast, coffees, lunch and evening meals as required (chargeable)
- Concierge service for check in, advice, and local info
- Private parking away from main show area
You can check in to your bell tent from 4pm on Friday, 17thMay and stay until 5pm on Sunday, 19thMay.

Glamping is only available to those who are attending at least one performance from the Shakespeare’s Globe. Please book your ticket to the show separately here.
