Tell us about your wedding day vision
We wanted a laidback English countryside vibe for our guests, who travelled from near and far for our day. We loved that the Walled Garden was a house that we could host everyone for both the ceremony and the rest of the day, so it felt like a backyard wedding but with an elevated and luxury feel.

Do you have any top tips for the day:
Decide a cut-off date for when you will stop worrying about planning/details and just enjoy the build-up. For us, that was when our family started arriving from America a week beforehand – from that point on we just wanted to be on holiday with everyone else, so we stopped worrying about all the little details!
If you had your time again what would you do differently:
Nothing! Honestly.

I really can’t pick one – they were all brilliant. One of our hair stylists was actually my cousin who flew halfway around the world on a really tight schedule to be able to make it, and she was absolutely amazing. So shout out to Sarah!
what music featured on your big day?
We had the amazing Gemma & Jonathan throughout the day and evening performing various acoustic sets. They were unreal – Gemma’s voice is stunning, and Jonathan can play anything including late night requests for singalongs with the groomsmen! Our first dance was Simply the Best, an acoustic cover of the Tina Turner song which we love.
Best memory of the day?
The ceremony – having our aunt and uncle acting as celebrants meant they could make it all really personal to us, and we wrote our own vows too.
