we recently supplied two tipis for free for our local primary school
At Events Under Canvas, we provided children with tipis at our local primary school in East Bergholt, in Suffolk.
To comply with social distancing measures in 2020, it is important that children at our local primary school still have the opportunity to be in a working classroom environment. And being in the summer made it a perfect opportunity for us to provide our services for East Bergholt Primary School so children can continue to be educated.
“My two children go to East Bergholt Primary School,” explained Jenna. “So I was conscious that the school might be struggling to cater for the increased numbers of children while putting social distancing measures in place.”
The tipis usually cater for around 100 people, but with the recommended two metre restrictions, Jenna says they could fit around 30 people if needed.
They will be able to use the two tipis, for an outdoor learning space when they return on June 1st. Here’s a time-lapse of our awesome crew getting them setup;

We wanted to support the school and help them create some outdoor space for the children, so that some could have lunch in there, or story time for example.
