Winter FAQs
Yes. Tipis and Kungs can have a central fire pit, which keeps them wonderfully cosy. For larger tipi parties or sailcloth marquees, you can add an industrial heater at additional cost.
Party packages are set up for standing guests and mingling. Dining packages are set up for seated, formal dining. Combined Party & Dining packages give you both: a dining area plus a party space for before and after the meal.
Frozen ground is fine. The ground needs to be flat and well drained with short grass, so avoid boggy or flood-prone areas. For softer sites, we can lay Rola-trac hard under-flooring beneath our matting, quoted separately.
Book by 22 January 2027 to secure the 30% winter discount, for events between 20 December 2026 and 31 January 2027.
Yes. We can supply festoon lights on shepherd’s hooks (mains power needed) and lay matted walkways across lawns to the tent. Our team will quote for these separately.
We usually set up one or two days before your event and take down one or two days after. We’ll agree timings with you and confirm the schedule.
If there’s a problem with your tent during your event, call our office on 01206 298074. Outside office hours, our on-call service will take your message and we’ll get back to you.
It will be flattened and may look a little tired after three or four days under cover, but it recovers.
Yes, but any flame or heat source must be kept at least 1 metre from the canvas.
Yes. We have simple white tents for a cloakroom or extra space. Hanging rails and hangers aren’t included. Ask our team for a quote.
In tipis and Kungs only, not sailcloth marquees. It must sit centrally under the smoke flaps and burn smokeless logs, which we can supply.
We start with a video call to check your space, access and any underground services. If we need to see the site in person, we’ll arrange a visit at no extra cost.
