Best Memory of The Day
“Hard to pick but probably me and my husband being the last two on the dancefloor and having our first dance again just us two, (with the DJ!) before chilling out with the remaining partygoers on party island.”

DO YOU HAVE ANY TOP TIPS FOR THE DAY:
Relax and enjoy it! I was so relaxed and treated it like a party I was attending. Focus on your partner and everything else will fall into place. We spent the day pretty much at each other’s side and it was lovely. Make sure someone competent and trustworthy is in charge of the timings and the agenda – that was my sister for me!
SHOUTOUT TO YOUR FAVOURITE WEDDING SUPPLIER
So hard to pick, they were all amazing! I honestly couldn’t choose.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR WEDDING DAY VISION
I wanted to create a grown-up Marie Antoinette theme with contemporary colours and personal elements such as my brother being our celebrant and us having a gospel choir. There was a fairly simple colour scheme with playful elements such as “party island” which was more boho. We embraced the bucolic settings as well as the lake.
IF YOU HAD YOUR TIME AGAIN WHAT WOULD YOU DO DIFFERENTLY?
“Order the seating plan and tent plan earlier – we wanted it to be perfect but it didn’t arrive in time due to a letdown on the delivery, I would have rather had it there and wrong than not at all!”
WHAT MUSIC FEATURED ON YOUR BIG DAY?
Our first dance was time after time by Cyndi Lauper and our anthem was Praise You by FatBoySlim. I walked down the aisle to Elvis Presley Fools Rush In. We also sang Whitney Houston My Love is Your Love as well Franki Valli’s Can’t Take My Eyes off you as our hyms which was really fun.
