The estate has been in the Cabbell-Manners family since 1852 and it’s still very much family-run, now managed by Benji alongside his son Hughie and Hughie’s wife, Olivia (and their beloved dogs!).That continuity gives the place a warmth you don’t always find in larger venues.
As you drive through the gates, the outside world drops away. You’re close to the coast, yet completely tucked into the countryside. It feels calm and spacious – exactly what you want when you’re bringing all your favourite people together.

The parkland in front of the Hall has views back to the house and across towards the coast. The gentle slope of the land creates a brilliant setting for marquee events overlooking the parkland towards the Hall. It’s just as suited to relaxed champagne and lawn games as it is to barefoot dancing in the grass once the music properly gets going!
One of the real advantages is the exclusivity. You’re not part of a production line of weddings here – there’s time and space to shape the day around you. The Tudor Gothic style Hall within view, has presence, but it never feels intimidating.

From 2026, Events Under Canvas will be partnering with Cromer Hall Estate to bring our luxury tents and tipis to the grounds for events in 2027 and beyond – something we are very excited about!
